Privacy Policy

Your account. Your name, email address and sign-in details, handled by our sign-in provider.

Your pilot profile. What you enter or import so it can go on airline applications: contact details and address history, date of birth, citizenship and travel documents, education, employment history, flight time, certificates, ratings and medicals, military service, references, answers to an airline's background questions (for example driving or criminal record questions), and voluntary equal-opportunity answers if you choose to give them. You decide what goes in your profile.

Imports you start. When you import from an airline application you already have, or from a logbook file such as a LogTen export, we read the answers or flight records in it and save the ones you keep to your profile.

How you use EZ Pilot. Pages and screens you visit, buttons you press, and session recordings of the EZ Pilot website and the extension's side panel, which can include what you type there. We use these to find what is confusing or broken.

Error reports. When something fails, a technical report of the error, and the feedback you write if you report a problem.

Messages to us. Emails you send to our support addresses.

Payments. If you subscribe, our payment processor handles your card. We see your plan and its status, never your full card number.

The extension works on the airline application sites EZ Pilot supports (American Airlines at pilots.aa.com, United Airlines at pilothiring.united.com, and Delta Air Lines at delta.avature.net once you allow it) and on ezpilotapps.com. On those sites it reads the application form so it can fill it, or import it, with your profile, and it saves to the airline only when you ask it to.

It looks at the address of your open tabs to tell whether you are on a supported airline page, and it watches EZ Pilot's own sign-in cookie so the side panel follows when you sign in or out on ezpilotapps.com. It does not read or keep your browsing history, and it does not run on any other site.

Your airline account password stays with the airline. The extension uses the airline session you are already signed in to in Chrome.

To build and keep your profile, fill and update your airline applications, import your existing applications and logbook, remind you about things like expiring documents, answer support requests, fix problems and improve EZ Pilot, and run billing.

We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to decide credit or lending.

The airline you choose. Your profile goes to an airline only when you fill or update that airline's application.

Service providers that run EZ Pilot for us, only for that purpose: Clerk (sign-in and billing), Convex (database and backend), Vercel (website hosting), PostHog (usage analytics and session recordings), Sentry (error reports), Google Workspace (email), Anthropic (drafting replies to support emails, which our team reviews before sending), and our payment processor.

When the law requires it, or to protect EZ Pilot and its users, and to a buyer if EZ Pilot is ever sold or merged, under this same policy.

EZ Pilot's use of information received from the Chrome extension follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use that information only to provide and improve the extension's single purpose, filling airline pilot job applications from your EZ Pilot profile. We do not transfer it except as described above, and people at EZ Pilot see it only with your permission (for example when you ask for support), for security, to comply with the law, or when it has been aggregated or made anonymous for our internal operations.

Information travels over encrypted connections and is stored with the providers above. We keep your profile while you have an account, so it is ready for your next application.

You can change your profile at any time. To delete your account and profile, email contact@ezpilotapps.com from the address you sign in with. We delete it within 30 days, apart from anything we must keep by law. Applications already sent to an airline stay with that airline under its own policy.

EZ Pilot is for working and aspiring airline pilots and is not meant for children under 16.

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you by email or in the app when the change matters to you.
